A home studio project that turned into.....well it stayed a home studio project. J. Hubner started Goodbyewave in 2002 after his cousin decided he didn't have time to work on music in their collaborative band, Squarewave. It started out just J. Hubner, but in 2006 Hubner began working with drummer Jack Long. Between 2006 and 2011 the duo put out 4 albums and 1 ep.
